Chrome 11 Has Arrived

Google announced Chrome 11 on April 27th, and along with it some new features.  Included is a new HTML Speech Input API, 27 bugs and security fixes, and a new icon.

Most noticeable is the flat colored icon that first made its appearance in the dev builds.  The speech input API looks interesting and allows for speech-to-text / text-to speech type methods. The Google blog has some ideas on how this can be used, more will be coming soon.  I also like how Google is paying out $16,500 in rewards to security researchers for fixing bugs and security issues.  They are holding back some security bug details while they give time for the majority of users to get the update.  For now, Chrome remains the best browser choice for PC, Mac, and Linux.
